The Green Bay Packers give his wish to retire in the previous first round

Former Green Bay Packers star Ha Ha Ha Clinton-Dix asks to retire from his position at Packer, and the Packers grant his wish.

Former Green Bay Packers safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has another dream come true thanks to the team that drafted him. Although he hasn’t played a full season since 2019, he asked if he could retire as a Packer.

Green Bay accepted his proposal, and he is scheduled to retire at Lambeau Field on Friday.

This is especially exciting as Clinton Dix started his career in Green Bay and played most of it with the Packers. Drafted in 2014, he played for the team until he was traded to the Washington Chiefs in 2018. In 2019, he played a full season with the Chicago Bears.

In 2020, he signed with the Dallas Cowboys but was released before the season started, and was signed and released by the Las Vegas Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, and Denver Broncos in 2021.

Under the circumstances, it is understandable why he is now choosing to retire.

Packers: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix ends his career where he began it

Clinton Dix had a great college career. In 2012, especially, he led the SEC in interceptions (5), had the second-most passes defensed (9) and the sixth-best interception return yards (91). Not surprisingly, Green Bay immediately gave him a shot in 2014.

According to the Packers official website,” In over four seasons with Green Bay, he recorded 419 tackles (337 solo), 14 interceptions (#1 on the team during that span), 38 passes defensed and three forced fumbles. Clinton-Dix also started all seven postseason contests In which he played for the Packers, he posted 39 tackles (32 solo), three interceptions and 11 passes defensed.”

His career may have ended a little earlier than most players, but he certainly played it well and is ending it exactly the way he hopes, thanks to the Packers.
